IV therapy businesses have taken off in recent years around Atlanta and Savannah.

Now, there’s one right here in Milledgeville. Hydrate & Revive recently opened its doors and held a ribbon cutting at 194 Log Cabin Road, located in the commercial building directly across the street from John Milledge Academy.

“To the best of my knowledge, we are the first one in this part of Georgia,” said Paula Stichter, the business owner. “It’s a great service, and we are just trying to get the word out.”

According to Hydrate & Revive’s website, “IV therapy is the fastest way to give your body the nutrition it needs. The process allows the vitamins and minerals to go right into your bloodstream to give you faster, more effective results.”“Everything is all natural, all vitamins and minerals,” Stichter said. “Most people who come in are just looking for that energy boost that they need to balance their body, and others, of course, come in looking to build up their immune system.”The average “IV drip” takes between 30-45 minutes, added Stichter, and the injections typically are scheduled “once or twice a week before gradually tapering off to once or twice a month.” The “Myers Complete” drip quickly has become one of the favorites around the business, and it entails “Vitamin C and all of your Vitamin Bs,” said Stichter. Hydrate & Revive also offers B12 injection shots and B-Complex shots. The “Better Than Gatorade” drip, meanwhile, is designed “for those who had a little too much fun last night.”Stichter more recently relocated from Augusta to Lake Sinclair, where she’d had a weekend house for many years. “I love the lake, and I love the area,” she said. “I’m just looking forward to meeting new customers and new friends.”
